Tetonia, Idaho is known for it’s vast acres of farm ground and expansive Teton Views. Don’t be fooled, it’s only minutes to Driggs’ restaurants & shops, and an hour to Idaho Falls.

With a populations of just 281 (2017) Tetonia a small town with big views. Teton Valley’s View corridor passes through the majority of the Tetonia area. If it’s got a Tetonia address (83452) you can almost count on a Teton View. Limited services, but just a short drive to town.

Tetonia, Idaho Real Estate

Tetonia, Idaho is really more of an area than a town, more so than the other cities in Teton Valley. There is however a small town with a gas station, quaint restaurant, and bar. In terms of areas, the Tetonia area is the most expansive in the county, and offers some of the very best Teton Views.

 

South of Tetonia

The area south of Tetonia holds the greatest number of communities and developments. This is likely because of its proximity, being closer to Driggs and skiing at the Grand Targhee. This area begins about 4 miles North of Driggs, and encompasses an area all the way to the small town of Tetonia. One of the popular areas just West of Highway 33, is Packsaddle Road. Packsaddle Road is home to many developments such as Los Pinos, Leigh Creek Estates, Daydream Ranch, D Diamond Ranch and Silver Dollar Ranch. On the other side of Highway 33, you'll find some of the most well-known developments in Teton Valley, such as Trout’s Ranch, one of the original high-end luxury subdivisions with lots ranging from 2.5 to 20 acres. Along 5000 North, you'll find subdivisions like Wild Horse Ranch, Wydaho, Perfect Drift, Stillwater Ranch, and Teton Rancheros. Every one of these communities was designed for taking in the amazing Teton views, as this area is central to Teton Valley’s famous "View Corridor".

 

North of Tetonia

The area North of Tetonia is quite rural, though it does house a few communities such as Spring hollow Ranch and Sky View Ranch. As you reach the old Felt Townsite, nothing more than a few residential properties built around a farm operation, you'll find North End Ranches and Black Pine Subdivision. Beyond Felt, ID is mostly vast farm ground. As you reach the county line, you will find one last subdivision, Majestic Mountain Ranch. For those looking for the ultimate views and privacy, this may be the place for you.

 

West of Tetonia

Like the areas north of Tetonia, the areas West are also mostly comprised of vast farm ground. There are a few rural subdivisions in these areas such as West Ridge Ranch, but most noteworthy is Packsaddle Creek Estates. Packsaddle Creek Estates is unique because it was the very first development in Teton Valley. The roads, maintained by the county, intertwine throughout the Western slopes of the Big Hole mountain range with some of the most dramatic Teton views overlooking the vistas of Teton Valley.

 

East of Tetonia

East of Tetonia up to the state line of Wyoming offers a variety of unique subdivisions intertwined with North and South Leigh Creek a few of the larger tributaries to the Teton River. Many of these subdivisions offer privacy amongst towering cottonwood trees and crystal clear creeks. North Leigh Creek Ranch, South Leigh Creek Ranch, and Leigh Meadows with its natural fed ponds are a few of the most popular.
