A: Timing is extremely important in the real estate market. A property attracts the most interest from the real estate community and from “Educated” buyers during the first three weeks it is listed. If you price it high even for a couple of weeks, you will be missing most of this market.

A: The house sits and doesn’t sell. Then it starts to be considered stagnant, then you get lowball offers, then you are at risk of ending up taking a lower price than you might have if you priced it correctly to begin with.

A: A short sale is a way to sell your home for less than what you owe on your current mortgage. You can short sale even if you have more than one mortgage. It takes time, and a little more effort on your behalf than a typical sale, but it could save the future of your credit.
