I retired up here in 2004. I had been waiting for years to get here, and I wanted my retirement and benefits before I moved. When I started coming up here, in 1984, I knew this was where I wanted to end up so I patiently waited. My husband and I didn’t want to give up the good jobs we had. I work in Driggs, and live in Swan Valley. It’s really a nice drive to work every day.
After a couple of years of not working, I felt like I wasn't accomplishing anything. I became a realtor because I didn't want to be in one place for eight hours a day, I did that for 30 years. I also figured I could do better than all the bozos that I unfortunately met when trying to sell our house in California. You might realize that I am a baby boomer. I was raised to do things the way they are supposed to be done, and be honest. And, that's how I do things.
I grew in Fresno, Ca and moved to Sonora, Ca in 1969. I was a small town (3000) then, and when I left in 2004 it was 70,000. I like a small town, so we found this one in Idaho.
My two greatest loves are photography and grandkids. Three of the kids live in Swan Valley close to me, and four live in Salem, OR. I go to Salem twice a year, and I get to see the kids here whenever I want to. I love living in Swan Valley. It is small and quiet. The Snake River is a ½ a mile away and we are surrounded by beautiful mountains.
It makes me feel good when I help someone get the house or property they want. I would like to help you find what you want.
